Press "Play" and wait for the game to load. That's all I can say. Never had issues with loading up the game. Maybe try reinstalling the game and follow the install instructions

A fine first effort. I felt the vhs scan line filter was a little much but not a deal breaker. I did manage to miss the sink slide jump scare. Did fine stability wise. I think this was the first time a game did just let the character slap a door shut and dial for back up. Good build up with what resources you had. I look forward to seeing part 2. Good job duder.
the yokai shop is a short and weirdly horrifying game of working at a convenience store, the scares are ok, the quality of the game is ok for a fairly new dev
First playthrough of the game I broke it by jumping on a trash bag into the bathroom, Im sorry lol I restarted the game to give it another try at around 11:06 . I did everything I think I was supposed to but I still think it bugged at the end. I watched other people's playthroughs and when they see the bathroom the game ends for them but mine never did and I was wandering around trying to figure out what to do next . The atmosphere is really nice though! . The VHS effect really didnt need to be there though for it to be creepy :) . It is good for a very first game! I look forward to seeing more by you !
I think I know the inspiration of the game. Just a few things I need to point out.
1. The settings option are bugged
2. The game is too dark I can't see anything clearly when its dark.
3. The VHS filter needs to be a thinner and toned down. ( Also the removal of the filter is not indicated inside the game so I didn't know I can turn it off)
Overall it is a good game and you have a lot of potential in doing more in the future
Nice work! Decent atmosphere, a bit spooky. All I'd ask is to tone down the VHS flickering, it's kinda distracting as a player. Great work and can't wait to see what you do next!
For the first game ever made it wasn't too bad, if I'm being honest it's kinda obvious it's the first. All my criticisms are at the end of the video however.
