I have a question about the model of the shop, after watching Zach’s video about the game. I noticed how the model is literally the same one from the roblox game called “ [ NIGHT SHIFT ] Short Creepy Stories “ Even Zach notices this. So is the model free to use or what?
Loved the reaction to the jumpscares haha :D. I left the game in a bit off a cliff hanger, so stay tuned for the Part 2! And that model... might be.... no one knows...
I know a lot of people here are saying it's not scary enough, but after the moving sink scare I was on the edge of my seat bracing for another jumpscare that never came. I think that was really well done.

This game was a lot of fun and I really wanna see some more games, you got a lot of talent! I recommend adding some jumpscares next time to spice it up (1st game)
My biggest things about this game is the lack of scaryness and jumpscares. I would like more context as to why the store is haunted and more about the protagonist. Also would like to be able to disable the VHS filter one time and it remain disabled, and the TO DO list that is in cursive writing is fine, but it is kind of hard to read, so I would say to implement a READ option that allows the text to appear in English text to read. Also, maybe subtitles to translate the Japanese dialogue to English subtitles so that for people who don't understand the language could understand what's being said. Overall not a bad game, just pretty short and lack of scares. I look forward to what else you make in the future knowing this feedback and I'm excited to try what you come up with! Thanks again! As I have mentioned in the details of the game this was for a school project and I kinda ran out of time so that explains the lack of jumpscares but don't worry there will be more of them in the next updates. The VHS option is just temporary fix for now and I'll implement an option that will stay on for the whole game. Since you're interested be tuned for the Part 2 of this game! I was genuinely relieved how this experience didn't feel like another generic convenience store horror game. Diverse gameplay, and good scares. Well done, dev!

The new versio has the option to disable the VHS filter and it has a bit different ending to it now :). If you would like more info check the Update 1.1 in development log. I think this one could be much improved by removing the filter and at least making the player complete all of the checklist items before the ending is triggered. The conclusion felt very abrupt. Nice little store though!

Unfortunately I ran out of time with this project since this was for school. I have a checklist that I could impliment for the shop but I just ran out of time and wasn't able to put that into this game. The option to enable/disable the VHS filter is a good recommendation and I'll add that in the next update. You seem to have a pretty large screen, and this game was only made for 1920x1080 monitor so that would explain some of the visual bugs. The video was entertaining to watch :). But anyway thanks for the feedback and I'll keep these in mind while I update this game.

Hmm. I haven't had that kind of problem while testing the game. Game is meant to be a bit dark but not that dark that you can't see anything. I'll look into this. Thank You :)
I'm past 40 so my eyesight isn't the best. However, I think it's important to think that YouTube darkens the image of the videos a lot (see the friend's video below), so I believe that an option to increase the brightness might be welcome. But thanks for answering and congrats on the job.
I just updated the game and hopefully improved the visibility enough for you too see :) if it's still too dark you could try increasing the brightness of your monitor if that helps!
